Former Vice Chancellor of Germany Philipp Rösler Calls for Global AI Regulation
The rapid integration of AI tools, systems and technologies across industries raises concerns about ethics, transparency and compliance with other regulations, including GDPR. Misuse of AI and breach of privacy should be addressed via stringent AI regulation. AI governance is getting more attention than ever before.

"You need global rules, regulation and standards to develop the global market for AI. This is also needed to have clarity on the rules and the responsibilities as a company," said Philipp RöGsler, former vice chancellor of Germany and Acronis board member. The lack of AI regulation "causes uncertainty and makes it challenging for companies to focus on the AI market," he said.
